SILVERLAKE

This project was conceived as a seamless extension of the home—an immersive indoor–outdoor environment rooted in warmth, texture, and quiet restraint. Inside, custom built-ins and softly integrated millwork frame moments of stillness, allowing natural materials—oak, plaster, stone, and linen—to take center stage. The living spaces are intentionally grounded and tactile, layered with sculptural furnishings and curated objects that feel collected over time. Beyond the walls, the landscape unfolds as a private retreat: terraced plaster planters, brick-clad steps, and decomposed granite paths guide you through native and drought-tolerant plantings to a cedar sauna tucked beneath a canopy of mature trees. Every detail—from the custom wood seating and fire feature to the rhythm of the stair risers—was designed and built by our firm to feel cohesive, elemental, and deeply connected to its Southern California setting.
